Did you sleep well last night?
I slept really well last night, yes. I’d been out
with my fiance, Dan, for a wee while.., just out
for dinner, nothing too outrageous. We went to
Little Italy in Soho.
Who were you with at midnight?
I was with Dan. We were in bed.
Who was the first person you spoke
to when you woke up this morning?
Dan!
What was the best meal you’ve had
today?
I haven’t had one yet, but yesterday’s
dinner was lovely. It wasn’t a proper sit-down
meal — we were kind of just picking at all
sorts of Italian Things. I really enjoy doing
things like that.
What was the most expensive thing
you bought in the past 24 hours?
Probably some gorgeous candies from
Crabtree & Evelyn that I bought for my
house. I chose the vanilla-scented ones.
How much have you spent in the past
24 hours?
Not a lot, actually — Dan did all the spending
yesterday. I can’t have spent much more
than 50 quid. I didn’t buy anything apart
from newspapers and candles — the
rest probably went on taxis. But today
we’re on a bit of a spree because I’ve got
the day off and we’re going to hit the shops.
I’m not sure what we’ll buy yet, but we’re
looking for houses and clothes — a good
combination! There’s a couple of flats lined
up for us to see, including one in Soho
with a roof terrace.
What has annoyed you most today?
What really annoyed me was watching
Sky News with everyone sitting and debating
the anarchy that was due to take place in
central London with the anti-capitalist
demonstration. That just angers me when
I watch the news and I think, ‘Oh, stop
talking about it.’ It’s such a waste of time,
and what’s the point of getting all these
people into the studio to discuss something
that hasn’t even happened yet? I just
don’t understand that.
What made you laugh the most today?
Dan makes me laugh so much. This morning
he was in the bedroom and phoned me in the
flat from his mobile. I was in another room
and he left a message on my phone to ask
me to please come into the bedroom.
What do you most regret about today?
Nothing, as I don’t have regrets about
anything, ever. I just think regrets are such
a waste of time.
What are you most proud about today?
I am most proud of Dan.
What song can you not got out of your
head at the moment?
I think it would have to be Walking After You by
Foo Fighters, which I was listening to this
morning.
What appointments did you make
and write in your diary today?
None whatsoever, because I haven’t spoken to
anybody yet. My agent will normally go through
some of them with me and then I put them
into my appointment book. But yesterday
I did arrange to meet some people for drinks
on Wednesday and I also made an
appointment with my personal trainer. I see
my trainer every day. I went off training for
a bit, so I’m trying to get back into it. I do
a lot of running myself and I mainly do weights
with my trainer. It’s quite cool.
How long did you spend getting ready
this morning?
Oh about 15 minutes, not that long at all.
I can’t be bothered getting all done up.
Did you meet anyone new today?
I met an estate agent called Mark. He was all
right actually and quite cool as far as estate
agents go. We were quite shocked as we were
a bit dubious about meeting them as they can
be a bit of a nightmare.
What time will you probably be in bed
tonight?
Probably about midnight, I would imagine.
I’ve got a meeting tonight at 7 o’clock so
we won’t do much, apart from going to the
cinema to see Traffic — the film with Catherine
Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas. I’m training
tomorrow morning at 6.30 so I’d like a good
nights sleep.
Was it a bad hair day or a good
hair day?
It’s a not bad hair day actually because
I’ve just put a little plait in and I’ve got my
little baseball hat on. It’s quite easy to just
kind of cover it all up so it’s not that bad.
I get someone else to do it if it needs
styling, because I can’t do make-up and
I can’t do hair.
