Gail: Watching Roy Wood from Wizard with his bad hair and make-up. I thought he was fantastic.

Gail: Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters, Woody from Madness and Richard Ashcroft.

Gail: No. I was into bands like The Smiths, but never did the whole groupie thing.

Gail: I once painted a white stripe over my nose and pretended to be Adam Ant

Gail: Ally's Tartan Army - by the Scotland footy squad

Gail: George Michael's Careless Whisper at a disco.

Gail: Foo Fighters' February Stars, Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd and The Cure's One More Time.

Gail: Never outrageously.
Q: Has a pop star ever come on to you in an interview?
Gail: Not as far as I know. They'd have to tell me outright, as I'm useless at reading signs.
Q: Are you a frustrated pop star?
Gail: I think everyone is. I still sing and dance in my flat I played Sandy in Grease at school, but that's as far as it goes.
Q: If you could be In any band, past or present, which one would it be?
Gail: The Foo Fighters - for obvious reasons - Rage Against The Machine, or a session musician for Janis Joplin.
Q: What record do you want played at your wedding and funeral?
Gail: I'm not getting married, so that's one out of the window. As for my funeral, the Foo Fighter's Everlong.
Q: Who's the coolest pop star whose number you've got programmed into your mobile phone?
Gail: I'd love Dave Grohl's!
Q: If you could make a pop video that brought your fantasies to life, what would it be?
Gail: I'd have to be Princess Leia from Star Wars, and I'd have loads of different Luke Skywalkers.

Gail: No, never.
